The trading business of BSA lampshades has been aquired by Kandela Lighting Ltd Kandela Lighting have supplied the highest quality lampshades and wire products for over two decades and are one of the few remaining UK manufacturers that are still able to supply the whole product with their own in house computer controlled wire frame production facilities and powdercoating plant. This gives us the ultimate flexibility in producing customers requirements. In addition to our network of agents who manage supplies to retail outlets throughout the UK, we also supply lampshades and associated products to a variety of independent establishments.
These include hotels, interior designers, caravan manufacturers / upholsterers, property developers, nursing homes, theatres and public halls amongst others.
Often, our customers have very specific requests such as a lampshade manufactured using their own specific materials or in specific colours. We are also asked to re-cover existing lampshades on a regular basis. We are always happy to provide these services wherever possible and do our utmost to accommodate our customer's wishes.
As lampshade manufacturers, we also have the capability to produce specific lampshades that are not within our own collections. If you have seen a particular lampshade that you want to emulate, we can source similar frames or if necessary have frames manufactured to meet your requirements.
More recently, UK lampshade manufacturers have been subjected to increasing pressure from foreign competition and this has led to an abundance of mass produced lampshades, often of poor quality. Because of this, we have recently turned our attention to more elaborate, individual lampshades.
Our Premier Collection hosts an abundance of individually styled lampshades in a variety of styles that include Victorian and Oriental to name a few. All are manufactured using the finest materials and are complemented with highest quality accessories. We have had a tremendous response to the introduction of these lampshades which are proving extremely popular due to their quality and individuality in an otherwise mass produced market.
